Calculator
Enter three values. Get the exact mark on your selected syringe, then verify the math both ways.
Your result
Draw to
20 unitson your selected U-100 · 0.5 mL · 50-unit barrel
✓ Lands exactly on a printed mark
10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL = 5000 mcg/mL · 1 mg → 0.2 mL / 20 units
How it works
Verify the calculation
Review each conversion step, the selected syringe scale, and the limits of the calculated result.
Core formula
concentration = vial amount ÷ liquid volume
draw volume = target amount ÷ concentration
U-100 units = draw volume × 100
Mass units are converted before the calculation. Switching mg and mcg does not change the physical result.
Syringe scale
Capacity and calibration are different. A 30-, 50-, and 100-unit barrel may all use a U-100 scale, where 100 units equals 1 mL.
The selected smallest tick is used only to assess whether the exact result lands on a printed mark.
Accuracy boundary
The calculator never silently rounds the exact result to a printed mark. Between-mark values, small draws, and over-capacity results are identified separately.
Theoretical draws do not account for dead volume, transfer loss, or handling loss.
